When your day starts with something like this, it can’t go wrong:

Best Australian Blogs 2014 People's Choice Award

I am so excited I can hardly type. Entering a competition is one thing – a person always hopes that their work is good enough, but the actual winning is a dream, a huge boost for morale and feels amazing.

Congratulations to all the category and special award winners, I haven't seen such a great line up of blogs in a long time. It's an honour to be one of you!

Special thanks to everyone at the Australian Writers' Centre. Your dedicated work year after year has been enabling people with passion for writing to go after their dreams.

As for you, my lovely readers… where would I be without you? Thank you so very, very much for supporting me in the competition. We got 2,781 votes in favour of IELTS-Blog.com, which put us on top of over 1000 blogs in the People's Choice round.

It's been a beautiful day for me, and I hope you're having a great one too!

Cheers,
Simone Braverman
