Thanks to the IELTS test taker A from Australia we know the questions and topics from a recent exam:

Listening testIELTS test in Australia

Section 1. A customer called an insurance company to make a claim.

Section 2. A student and a teacher were talking about how to approach a project with three sections.

Section 3, 4. Don't remember.

Reading test

Passage 1. Different ads promoted different venues and courses for water sports.
Questions: match ads with the corresponding sentences.

Passage 2. A lecture about hornbills (birds).
Questions: match headings to paragraphs.

Passage 3, 4. Don't remember.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

Write a letter to a friend inviting him/her to watch a movie that he/she wanted to see. Tell him/her

- What movie is it?
- Why do you think it might be interesting?
- Make arrangements to watch it together.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Some people think one should stay all their life in the same job, whereas others advocate changing jobs from time to time. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Speaking test

Interview

- What is your full name?
- Can I see your ID?
- Where are you from?
- Do you work or study?

Cue Card

Talk about a situation when a stranger did something kind for you. Please say

- What did he/she do?
- When and where did it happen?
- How did that make you feel?

Discussion
