Today I’m delighted to announce the 8 winners of our November IELTS results competition:

Academic Module – 1st placeBand 9 in IELTS

  • Sayali Patki from India, Band 8 (with a 9 in Listening)

Academic Module – 2nd place

General Training Module – 1st place

Congratulations to the winners! You have a real reason for celebration, and to mark this occasion we are sending your certificates of achievement to your emails. Your IELTS results will be displayed in the IELTS-Blog hall of fame – please feel free to show off to your friends!

Candidates will be able to register and pay for their test from late March 2015. As this test is brand new and has been just announced one day ago, there isn’t much information available yet. We did our best to prepare a summary for you, and will update it as soon as more details come out. What is IELTS Life Skills test? IELTS Life Skills test is different from the General Training IELTS and from the Academic IELTS, it only tests two skills, Listening and Speaking. We had to compare the data. Writing task 2 (an essay) A recent study showed that both developed and developing countries prosper because of the economic growth. People from developing countries are happier than before while people from developed countries are not as happy as they were in the past. Why is this happening? How can this situation be improved?
