Our friend V shared this update after a recent IELTS exam in New Zealand:

Listening testIELTS test in New Zealand

Section 1. A mother was talking to a school principal about her son who is new in this school.

Section 2. An adviser was taking to students about their presentation.

Section 3. Don't remember.

Section 4. A person was giving information about campus and its facilities for new students.

Reading test

Passage 1. About banana and its health benefits.

Passage 2, 3. Don't remember.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a diagram showing the process a person has to go through to get a driving licence. We had to describe the process.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Economic progress is one factor that is being considered to measure the success of a country, but there are other factors that should be considered when measuring the success of a country. Do you agree or disagree? What other factors do you think should be considered? Do you think one factor is more important than others?

We had to compare the data. Writing task 2 (an essay) A recent study showed that both developed and developing countries prosper because of the economic growth. People from developing countries are happier than before while people from developed countries are not as happy as they were in the past. Why is this happening? How can this situation be improved?
